2010 Musical Theater Production: 15th Generation Rapunzel
"15th Generation Rapunzel" is not your typical "Rapunzel" story. This tale, told from the witch's perspective, happens long after the knights in shining armor. Many years have passed since the first "Rapunzel"-- 15 generations to be exact-- and our story takes place in the wild west. Our witch has learned a few lessons from her ancestors, such as hire spies to guard your "Rapunzel," cut her hair daily, and keep the tower key safe. Unfortunately for the witch, she took Rapunzel as a 5-year old rather than a baby, so Rapunzel's family had their next daughter, Kimmie Ann, grow her hair long to someday rescue her long lost sister. Kimmie Ann meets up with Cody the Cowboy, and the two venture off to find the mysterious maiden in the tower.
